Roof Services in Phoenix, AZ

Homeowners in Phoenix, AZ come to us with everything from a few slipped tiles to a roof that has simply worn out. Below are the five kinds of work we take requests for. We set up the visit, and a local roofing pro looks at the roof and says what it really needs.

All Services

  • Full roof replacement. For a roof past repair: the old layers come off, soft decking gets fixed, and new underlayment and roofing go on. Details: roof replacement.
  • Storm and monsoon damage. Summer wind and dust lift tiles, peel shingle edges and work grit under flashing. Hail is rare here. Go to Storm & Monsoon Damage.
  • Tile roofs. With concrete or clay tile, the underlayment usually wears out before the tile does. Many jobs are a lift and relay over new underlayment, not all-new tile. Visit tile roof replacement.
  • Shingle roofs. Architectural and 3-tab shingles on many ranch homes take years of hard sun, which can dry them out and curl their edges. Open shingle roof replacement.
  • Repairs. A few cracked tiles, a flashing leak or a worn spot on a roof with life left may need only a fix. Start at roof repair.

Which Service Fits?

Start with the roof's age and what you can see. Scattered trouble on a younger roof usually points to a repair. Damage that showed up right after a monsoon storm belongs with the storm page. Wear across the whole roof, soft spots or many past patches lean toward replacement, and the roofing material tells you whether the tile or shingle page fits.

Material changes carry extra steps. Inside Phoenix city limits, same-material work needs no building permit, but going from shingles to tile does, partly because tile adds weight. Homes in the City's historic districts should talk to the Historic Preservation Office first. If an HOA governs your street, read the CC&Rs and get its architectural sign-off before any change of roof color or material.
